I will be praying for the DR. you will see next week to be able and willing to get your some relief and soon. You have a right to depressed with all you have been going though and with all that pain too. These DRS. can make you so mad when they don't seem to understand or even hear how much pain you are in. Most of us RSDers have gone though the suicide thoughts, so don't feel bad, I am just so glad that you realize that your children need you and you don't know it yet, but we need you too friend. I don't know of any--in house--programs for RSD treatment. I personally have checked myself into 2 different programs to help with the depression over the last 10 years. It did help. But, I feel that you need to get your RSD under control as much as you can before you tried one, because while I was in the hospital, they only give me my regular meds(that being my RSD meds) and what ever they thought I needed for the depression. My RSD DR. did not deal with me while I was in the hospital. Hey, I feel like you are going about this in a very good way with that person that has RSD should know how this DR thinks about RSD and if he helps or not. I feel good about this DR. and I think you may have found a good RSD DR. I sure hope so. You certainly need one. Most of them are like the ones that you have already been to. Jerks!!!!! Donna, usually a lot of the depression will go down when you get some pain relief, and I hope and will be praying that you get that very soon. Until then, just try to take it as easy as possible. JUST LOADED ME UP ON LASIX. AND TOLD ME TO SEE MY DR IN THE AM. THATS WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN ON HERE. CAN'T STAY OUT OF THE B/R, LOL IT DOES SEEM TO BE EASIER TO BREATH NOW THOUGH. I'M TO SEE MY DR AT 11;15 IN THE MORNING WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THAT GOES. YOU ARE NOT A PEST. YOU ARE A CARING FRIEND AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT. No this stupid city does not care about people with a handicapped tag. Hell they don't even have signs up for us. Then you go to Wal-Mart and there is maybe 16 which is not enough here. And most of the shopping centers here only have about 2 per store and that I find pitifull. I even sent the city a letter because in October we all messed up and parked on the even side of the street and got tickets--they love 2 odd nights in a row --Adam says that is their money making night--because people just automatically switch to the opposite side of the street first thing in the morning so that they can get a spot pretty close to their house. We have 2 other handicapped people on this block--so when I got the ticket and paid it I sent them a letter telling them that in Virginia Beach they do not ticket cars that have the handicapped tags on them--Not here was their response and that they would forward my letter to the proper department--yeah right the file 13 department. Even when you go over to Warren St which is the main street which has a lot of businesses on it there is only 1 handicapped spot on each side of the street --one is on the upper end of the street and the other is about 2 1/2 blocks away--needless to say I do not go over there to even look in the shops--they have a lot of antique shops over there and I love just going through them but the parking and walking is not just for me on most days. So I do no even attempt it. So nice to be able to start dinner earlier in the day when I feel better. My sister made my daughter a small lasagna in the crock for Christmas Day. It was very good and easy.
