Hi Shirley,

If the doctor gave him Caverject or EDEX, they both have Prostaglandin E1

which does cause and achy feeling. The BiMix should not cause any pain.

I strongly suggest that you get an autoinjector. It is fairly inexpensive and

it makes it very easy to inject either side. It also can control the depth.

Most larger drugstores may have them. Just ask for the type of auto-

injector used by diabetics.

As for Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, go to www.alldaychemist.com. They

are in India, but the generic drugs they supply are very inexpensive

and they do work.

If your husband is eligible for Medicare or has a good insurance company,

he should get a Vacuum Erection Device (VED). This is one of the least

invasive ways of all to create an erection. It is also useful to help prevent

penile shrinkage after a radical prostatectomy. Without regular erections,

the penile tissues shrink and the man may lose up to one inch or more.

When the dr. injected him in his office, it worked fine. He then sent us home with a pre-filled syringe, and a prescription for 6 more.

The first time at home I gave him the injection, and he said that the pain was less than at the dr. office but then afterwards it hurt for several days. Plus, it didn't seem to be as 'stiff' as in the office. (But, then again, we didn't get to try it out in his office.)

Last night we tried it again, and the pain from the injection was pretty bad. The pain subsided but then so did the mood. :0(

He's suppose to go back for a follow-up visit with the ED Urologist, but I'm wondering if we should give it at least a couple more tries before returning. Also, would we be better off not buying the pre-filled syringes? There's only one place that I found will fill the Rx for me, and it's $9 each. (1 cc Bi-mix)

He also gave him a Rx to try Cialis, but that's $12 per pill and since our insurance coverage on either is 0, we figured we'd stick to the injections for the time being. (Viagra didn't work at all)

Does anyone know of a pharmacy that is cheaper here in the US for Bi-mix or Viagra?

Thanks!

Shirley

In my experience it is what you hit below the surface - some nerves are pretty sensitive. The worst thing is hitting a vein - then use an icepack for half an hour.

Kronos in Las Vegas or Wedgwood in NJ are cheaper for the bi-mix or tri-mix injections Metcalf wrote: In my experience it is what you hit below the surface - some nerves are pretty sensitive.
