Guest guest Posted September 22, 2010 Report Share Posted September 22, 2010 I have heard that the fat is filling and makes up for the low carb but forgot where I heard it. pauline Appetite etc  I have been trying to find a short article that explains how fat, particularly saturated fat when eaten on a low carb diet suppresses appetite but there does not seem to be a short one. She is not really on the diet, but she does take coconut oil daily, but not a lot of it. She cut down on bread and potatoes. The coconut oil really helped her bladder problems.
