I have the same problem with my husband. I have to learn to back off. A few

months ago he tried to change a light bulb and climed on a small ladder (unknown

to me). the next thing I knew he was on the floor as his leg gave out from

under him. He had severe nerve damage. The dr told him not to do anything

stupid. He is more careful but he knows Im always watching. He says he knows

what he can and cant do - todays our 49th wedding anniversary, so we made it

this far - this past year has been a bummer, but hopefully things will get

better for all of us.
