I found my old wizard of oz book I had as a kid which I never really

read. Its funny how its one of the books that i decided to keep for

some reason throughout my life till now, and have found some passages

that ring true to many experiences I've had with nada:

As the guardian of the gate says to Dorothy and her friends on finding

the wicked witch " No one has ever destroyed her before, so I naturally

thought she would make slaves of you, as she has of the rest. But take

care, for she is wicked and fierce, and may not allow you to destroy her " .

The witch's thoughts on the Winkies when they didn't succeed in

destroying Dorothy and her friends " She could not understand how all

her plans to destroy these strangers had failed, but she was a

powerful witch, as well as a wicked one, and soon she made up her mind

how to act " .

The witch's thoughts about Dorothy when finding that Dorothy was

marked by the kind witch " So the Wicked Witch laughed to herself, and

thought ' I can still maker her my slave, for she does not know how to

use her power' " .

When Dorothy and her friends tried to find an escape " But they could

find no way to get out of the castle, for it was constantly guarded by

the yellow Winkies, who were the slaves of the Wicked Witch and too

afraid of her not to do as she told them " .

I know this is probably nothing new for you all, just thought I would

share it

Evey story has it's villain...... we got nada's!

When I hear about other peoples villains I think that having a nada

is not the worst thing that could have happen to me.
