Guest guest
My husband's uncle bought a ham at Sam's Club that had been salt cured. No sugar, but it did still have nitrates in it. Jody mom to -5.0 and -7.
Guest guest
Hi, Laurie, I'm catching up reading posts. I found a small, expensive pack of thinly sliced ham at Trader Joe's in Indianapolis. It says, " Revilla, Serrano Ham, Dry cured ham, product of Spain. Ingredients: pork ham, salt, potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate. " I decided to assume it was ok, since other dry-cured hams available there did list sugar. There's actually a phone number on the package; I assume it's in Spain. Not speaking Spanish, I'm too chicken to call. researching diet for , age 8, HFA > Does anybody know if there is an SCD legal brand of ham? I mean, > one that is reasonably priced.
