Free PSA Test - How does this work?

I have heard of the " free psa " test which is used along with the psa

test for determining cancer activity.

I am scheduled for the " free psa " test next week. Can anyone give

their thoughts on how this works? Is a low number good or bad?

Any advice would be appreciated.

As I understand it's a level two PSA test. A more refined test with a

measure of free versus attached cells/antigens. A lower number, under

25?, is considered not good. When I saw mine, PSA 6.7 and free % of

21, I knew for sure what was coming.
