Guest guest
Just to add my two cents, I have had radio frequency done bilaterally C3-T1 and L4-S1 f.acet joints and the SI joints. The first attempt didn't do anything anywhere except right SI and right lumbar. I've now done the rest a second time with much better results. I am anywhere from 4 weeks to 1 week out and so far the pain has decreased a lot. I intend to do all of them the third and final time for this year. Also, I am on methadone and oxycodone for the pain. You are right that they don't take it all away. Oddly enough, injected morphine does the best and so we are now considering implanting the pump. So Cheryl is 2 for 2 and I suggest ya'll would be well advised to listen to her. I am on an anti-depressant though not for this specifically, rather fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. Constant pain is gonna get you down, no doubt about it. It's not going to help the pain, as Cheryl points out. It will help the natural depression that comes from being in continuous pain, so I view it as a conjunctive treatment. Take care, M
