Guest guest
Hi Teddi, My rash is very noticeable. When I first got sick it was so bad I was purple. Some people when they look at me think I have been a burn victim. When I have something lodged in my throat. I can't even take a sip of water that won't even go down. I've had a awful head cold the last couple of days. Feel better today. Remember all to get FLU shots. I was just watching the news and we have been having lots of shark sightings right here at Waikiki Beach. The tourists are not happpy. In Australia it's very common for sharks at our beaches. Good Night and Sleep Tight LOVE Helen ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Guest guest
I received this today from a friend and I thought I would share it with you. Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there. To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help you to figure out who you are, or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them , you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love. lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts your, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possible can, for you may never experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to . Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you. Create your own life and then go out and live it. Send this to anyone who you believe has made a difference in your life
Guest guest
Vicki I sometimes feel that God is using my illness so I can encourage others......at times when I write to people I am amazed at what I am saying and where it came from. Guest guest
Hi Helen I don't have much trouble with the swallowing anymore unless it is something very dry.... then still have to wash down each bite with a sip of water. It's funny Helen....I don't remember having the rash with I was really sick (maybe I ws too sick to notice) but now with my CPK's down the rash is there. go figure Teddi
Guest guest
I am up the creek when it comes to the flu shot. I am allergic to eggs and the serum used in the flu shot is made from eggs. It is more risky for my to get the shot than it is to risk getting the flu. Fern
Guest guest
Hi Fern Are you talking about the live verses the dead flu shot? Vicki
Guest guest
Vicki, It doesn't matter whether the vaccine is live or not, it is still made with an egg base. We had to ask all our patients before giving the shot if they were allergic to eggs because if you are you cannot recieve the shot. It could cause an anaphylactic reaction and death. Guest guest
Fern Now I remember the nurse at where I use to work ask me about eggs. I just couldn't remember if it made a difference with live or dead. Thanks for the clairification. Vicki
