Guest guest
Thanks, Jody. However, the fact that Woolwich was " cheddar " and said " cheese culture " on it innocently misled me. (Also says " enzymes. " ) So, if there's not already on pecanbread (don't have it memorized), there probably should be some big notice about the " aged 60 days " (before leaving the factory) requirement. Teri Legal Cheeses Here is a list from BTVC of legal cheeses. Asiago Blue Brick Brie Camembert Cheddar- mild, medium or sharp Colby Edam Gorgonzola Gouda Havarti Limburger Monterey Jack Muenster Parmesan Port du Salut Roquefort Romano Stilton Swiss Dry Curd Cottage Cheese I have found goat gouda and sheep romano (Peccorino Romano). Also Manchego goat cheese is legal (and delicious). Jody mom to -5.0 and -7.
Guest guest
From Dana's view- a site you sent me. I use GSE [grapefruit seed extract] for my son's yeast issues. It works GREAT! Eliminated his yeast issue in 2-3 days. I use the concentrated drops from Nutribiotic, which I buy at my local health food store. There is available a capsule form of GSE, but I have never used that so I do not know if it is equally as effective. There are a few potential negatives to GSE that I know of, one is that it does have phenol effect, so start with 1-2 drops in the morning, then watch to see any phenol-type reactions. Also, if your child is using SSRI medication, then you should not use GSE, because it slows down liver metabolism and affects levels of medications like SSRIs. And in individuals with liver metabolism which is already slow, they would want to avoid GSE, or if for some reason GSE is required, it is recommended to avoid strong-flavored foods and spices, and that will help. Does anyone know about this whole GSE with SSRI problem? How dangerous and serious is this? Carolyn

Guest guest
Do the children stay away from cheese all together or do they only eat sheep and goat cheese?JodyhCeliac Disease, SCD 1 year 2 months _______________________________________________ No banners. Guest guest
It depends on the child. Many kids stay away from all dairy products. Some eat goat/sheep products. A few can tolerate cow products. Jody mom to -5.0 and -7.
