Guest guest
Donna, You need to take digestive enzymes and HCL with every meal for proper absorption of food BEFORE it reaches the intestional tract. I recommend Twin Labs Super Enzymes Caps. They have the HCL in them too. Along with this, add a liquid pharmaceutical grade aloe vera juice (like Coats International) to heal the gut. In a meeting early last year with Dr. Ivan Danof, one of the leading investigators into aloe vera, and the physician who holds an IND for a study using intravenous aloe in Hepatitis C and terminal cancer patients, he told me the following: Aloe vera mucilaginous polysaccharide is a long chain sugar molecule composed of individual mannose and glucose sugar molecules connected together. The small molecules (50 to 600) reduce inflammation in such diseases as ulcerative colitis, arthritis and gastric reflux. It also helps with reduction of blood sugar with both type I and type II diabetes. The medium size molecules (up to 1500) are very effective intracellular antioxidents and free radical scavengers - very important in preventing and treating arteriosclerosis, heart disease and Parkinson's disease. (Vitamins and minerals only function outside the cells.) With the ever increasing pollution of the planet and loss of nutrients in the soil, the increase in free radicals and loss of cellular oxygen will only become worse with time - making aloe vera mucilaginous polysaccharides even more important than ever. The larger molecules - up to 5,000, have a direct anti-bacterial and anti-viral effect - very important with all the new infectious diseases cropping up and the older ones becoming moe virulent from long term use of antibiotics. The very large molecules - upto 9,000 - are immune modulating, which have a powerful healing effect on AIDS, cancer and many different immune system disorders. It is also this large molecule that causes the body to produce a natural chemical, tumor necrosis factor, that functions to shut off the blood supply to tumors. There are very few aloe vera products on the market that contain stabilized mucilaginous polysaccharides. BTW, Dr. Danof's laboratory does the quality control testing for the Coats International aloe vera product. In a conversation with Mrs. Coats, she told me she drinks 2 - 8 oz. glasses of aloe vera a day and is never sick. Ethel rheumatic IBS > Hello everybody. I wanted to ask a question about the Aloe Vera juice that people have mentioned. I have IBS and my main complaint of this problem is excessive gas. Does anyone know if the Aloe Vera juice will help this? Any other suggesions? Guest guest
Gayle, Yes, I know about stubborn men and their ways of denying they have a problem until it gets out of hand. Most men HATE drs and hospitals. That's not to say I love them but do still see the need once in awhile. :-) > I have rheumatoid arthritis and need to find a new doctor that will do AP. My " rheumy " wants to put me on methotrexate....of course, I refused. Good for you. I don't know how to advise you but check with Ethel or some of the others who have a wealth of knowledge. I don't want to EVER go back of Methotrexate again if I can in any way avoid it. Have you asked him to do the IV Antibiotic to boost you? > He has been writing scripts for 5 years for me. I begged for Minocycline after seeing him for 2 years and he finally gave in. It worked wonders for about 5 years but now my RH factor is really high and he wants to do it HIS WAY. > I think I'll worry about myself and RA for a change and let my husband worry about his IBS....ha ha I think we women try to handle it ALL and make ourselves sick. This is so true. > Thanks again for your help!! OH, one other question, do you take FISH OIL? Yes, I take two 1,000 mg. pills twice a day. The bottle suggests three times a day but I didn't bring that many to Indonesia and am stretching my supply until I return to the states next year. Take care of yourself and I hope you can get to feeling better soon. /Polymyositis Sent: Monday, July 21, 2003 7:53 AM Subject: RE: IBS Gayle, I took Bentyl for years to control it as well as Metamucil about 3 times a day. As I said, when I got sick with Polymyositis I went from an over active painful bowel to and under active bowel. This disease effects my muscles both externally and internally and when I'm not doing well with the Polymyositis the muscles in my digestive tract are not strong enough to move things along as well as before. I suffered with IBS for about 25 yrs and just treated it as above. Oh yes, watch out for things with seeds like sesame, celery seeds, and small seeds in fruits like berries. My husband has this problem now, but if he takes a fiber drink at least once daily, and watches the seeds he does well. Good Health, IBS , do you still have IBS? My husband has it and it is about to drive us crazy.....seems even bread and water can " set him off " on a bout. He can " drop " 10 lbs. in a weekend it seems when it is really bad. Just wondered if you had any good ideas on " curing " it or at least helping it. Thanks.

Guest guest
I took the ACT blood test for food allergies. Patty took that one too but recommends another one...I believe it is enterol labs. The test is a blood test. They test whether your lymphocytes react to hundreds of foods,chemicals..etc. The enterol test is " stool sample " testing ... testing what is actually coming out of you..to see if you had reactions from what you ate. I just found out from Patty about this one. > > Nope...what are the name of test and who can do them ? > <BR><BR><BR>**************************************<BR> Check out free AOL at > http://free.aol.com/thenewaol/index.adp. Guest guest
, Take Turkey Rhubarb, one in morning and one at bedtime, if no relief take on in mid day. Takes about a week to start working good, be patient my friend..... Then back off of it after you start going to bathroom really well, back down to just one a day at bedtime.............. Hope this helps and it does work you just need more than 4 days...... If you up your dose to 3 a day and find you get diaheria, go back to two a day....... ~ Check out free AOL.
