I agree completely with Patti. The drops in the ear works great, and a

chiropractor works even better for ear infections. To alleviate the

pain, we put rice in a thick sock, tie the end, and put it in the

microwave for 45 seconds, until it is warm. Then put the sock on the

sore ear. It can help a kid sleep if the ear is painful. I hope your

child is feeling better soon!

thanx a lot for your precious advice patti

antibiotics and Motrin (ibuprofen) are bad for the gut and will only

impede your SCD progress.

who take antibiotics for ear infections do not get well any faster

than those who don't. You can probably do a net search and find the

results of the study to show your doctor.

from olive oil, with garlic and mullein infused in it. You can buy

these in a health food store. DO NOT use them if the ear drum is

perforated or ruptured.... but it's very safe as long as the drum is

intact. These help the infection and inflammation and also relieve

ear pain, especially if you slightly warm the oil first. I used to

just warm the whole glass bottle up by sitting it down into a glass

of warm water for a while.... but a friend told me that warming and

rewarming the whole contents of the bottle would not be good for it

and advised taking out just a dropper full, squirting it into a small

separate container and just warming that. Keep the main bottle in the

fridge.

seeing a chiropractor for a gentle neck adjustment. It really does

work.
