Guest guest
Well, I finally made the call to Dr. Blaise and it he answered the phone. He is a very kind, gentle-sounding man. Turns out that when I told him about what I have inside my implants he seemed surprised that I was even alive after having them for 15 years. I have the "Misty Gold", hydrogel implants. When I told him what they are there was a big pause....then he said, "oh dear"...I said, "Dr. Blais...this doesn't sound very good"! He said he hasn't seen these pass by him in a very long time and that they are very toxic....he didn't think there was anyone left with these inside them. Back in the war days they tried to pass this material off as a plasma expander for blood and it failed miserably...was a complete fraud he said. He said that my implants are not just one compound, but about five different, toxic materials. Worst of all, the company that produced these went backrupt so they didn't have to pay....turns out he knows that these exact people are in Germany making a lot of money with this same terrible stuff. Anyway, he wants all my info from the original surgery and is going to analyze the implants and get me all the info on this company as well. Can you believe this????? He also told me that the fibromyalgia, unlike what you read on the internet and in books is due to having an absess. People with and without can delvelop the absess...once the absess is taken care of, a lot or all of these symptoms can go away. He said the I have two absesses from the moment I got breast implants....one in each breast. I though this was very interesting. Anyway, he is very happy that I am getting them out. He also said to be careful with doing that fat transfer because I am very unhealthy and it could be risky. Not only that...if I do not have well vascularized breast muscle, it won't take. I will have to talk to Huang about this and have her make the call because if it won't take, I don't want to pay and extra $2000.00 for this, and also risk my life for a little fullness. Well, as hard as it was for me to hear his honesty, and I felt he was holding back quite a bit as to not alarm me any further, I am happy to know the facts. He did give me hope and said he will let me know all that is in them so I can work on getting better. Wow..... We won't tell. Guest guest
Wow, sounds like you got a lot of info out of that call! Can you wait and do the fat transfer at a later date, when you are healthier? Maybe you could have Dr. Huang do a lift in the meantime? Many women have had excellent results with lifts, even if they had little tissue to begin with, including moi. Interesting about the absess theory. That would point toward the benefit of using anti-inflammatory substances, i.e. ginger, tumeric, etc. Bindi About my implants...I talked to Dr. Blaise yesterday Well, I finally made the call to Dr. Blaise and it he answered the phone. Guest guest
Hi Bindi, Yes, I did think all of this was very interesting. I will talk to Dr. Huang at the consult and let her know everything that Dr. Blaise told me. I will leave it up to her discretion as to whether she wants to do a lift or the transfers or just move some of my tissue around...whatever she thinks. It all depends on the health of my muscle...Dr. Blaise said I will have a lot of dead muscle. One thing he told me though is to do exercises to rebuild that muscle. Anyway, I don't care what Huang does....I just want to get these out!!! freebindi <bindi@...> wrote: Wow, sounds like you got a lot of info out of that call! Guest guest
Wow! . . . As Lea always says, Dr. Blais is a good man! I'm always impressed when someone of his inteligence/stature/work load will take the time to talk to one of our women. He's been on our side for years . . . lost his position because of it! . . . But it didn't shut him up! Hopefully when a new round of hearings commence, he will be heard! Rogene -----
Guest guest
Yes, Rogene...I was very impressed with him. It made me feel so much better about everything and now I know what I have inside of me. I'll keep you informed. My surgery with Dr. Huang is on March 13th. Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Wow! . . . Guest guest
, Wow is right I am so glad we have Dr. Blais helping us on these breast implants issues. Thank God. I wonder if you could ask your surgeon if she would wait and remove them first and see what they have in them, after Dr. Blais report comes back. If feeling better then go back and pay the extra $2000.00 for the fat transfer. I would be very careful you don't want to risk further breast surgeries down the road. I am so glad you had enough strength to call him, I know that I do not, yet. Good Luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers for you to make the proper decision regarding your up coming surgery. Guest guest
, I see that would be to expensive to pay for the anesthsia and hospital again. OUCH So if the fat transfer don't take, then you don't have to go back and get any more surgery's to make it retake? Sorry so many questions, I really don't know much about this procedure at all..... Guest guest
Hi , That's a great idea if I could afford to fly all the way back to Colorado and pay for the anethesiologist and hospital again...it was hard enough to scrape this money together and I am still short! I do wish I had that option though. I have 8 days to come up with the rest of the money. Dr. Huang should be able to tell if I have enough vasculized muscle to do it and if not, well I guess I save $2000.00 or put it towards the lift she may do instead! I will let her make the call and hope she makes the right one. The worst case scenerio is that the fat transfer doesn't take and I lose the money. I'll keep everyone informed though. I'll be bringing my laptop with me so I can communicate with everyone.toxicsalines@... wrote: , Wow is right I am so glad we have Dr. Blais helping us on these breast implants issues. Thank God. Guest guest
Yes, I never thought it was a good option to have two surgeries when our great plastic surgeons can do everything the first time. Guest guest
I'm not sure...I'll have to ask Dr. Huang the day before my surgery at my consult. I think if they don't take, then I'm just not a candidate at this time. It's my own fat, so I don't think they would have to go back in unless I chose to try it again at another time. It's okay, I'm still trying to understand all of it as well!toxicsalines@... wrote: , I see that would be to expensive to pay for the anesthsia and hospital again. Guest guest
Dearest Rogene: Dr. Blais is a wonderful man, and he always goes back to history. He is honest with the women, and sometimes that can be frightening. The Misty-Gold was used quite a bit here in Canada, and I have a friend who still has one in her body. She is trying to cure her symptoms with holistic medicine. I have met her many times, but she is in complete denial...she is so beautiful. My dentist knows her, because she dates one of his dentist friends. She feels that she needs her breast implants to catch the right man! This lady wants to marry a rich man, she has told me, and the last time she came to our home, she stopped traffic...so sad. Love you.........Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: About my implants...I talked to Dr. Blaise yesterday Wow! . . . As Lea always says, Dr. Blais is a good man!
