Where did this come from? I would assume that it was addressed to Mr. Kessler that this is old.... But no doubt the cacophony from women screaming that they want the choice is going to be very loud. I can only wonder, how loud will they be screaming when they get sick? I wish all the women who got sick would really make alot of noise! PattyRogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Thanks . . . unfounded decision, women all over the country are being forced to undergo 2 surgeries at huge expense to get the implants that they know they want in the beginning. I will be having the obviously fake saline implants, that I had inserted 8 months ago, removed and replaced with silicone soon. This represents huge risk to my health by having to undergo anesthesia and surgery a second time and huge expense in lost wages a second time as well as the cost of a second very unnecessary surgery. It is time for men in this country to stop trying to make decisions that they feel are in the best interest of women. I am a highly educated medical professional with a Master's degree. I am intelligent enough to do my research and make an informed decision without you. May I send you the bill for my second surgery?

I'm sure it is an old message . . . Ms. Benson told me that they receive as many messages praising and thanking them for implants as they do complaining about them . . . I would think she could find a newer example . . . but that may be a violation of privacy. Rogene Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Where did this come from? It wouldn't be any more a violation of privacy than this anonymous letter was.

And for a woman so 'highly educated', this implantee sure isn't using much

common sense

or investigating very thoroughly. I don't know that every woman has problems

from

implants. But enough do that implants should not be on the market. I suspect

that some

women are more susceptible than others to autoimmune related problems, and that

implants trigger a response in these women. To put implants - a purely cosmetic

device

(even for mastectomy patients) -on the market with such risk is reprehensible

and the very

worst example of unrestrained capitalism. Ultimately, that is all this is about

- profit.

Studies show that the touted mental health benfits from implants are bogus. So

there is

no medical benefit - except maybe to the one Israeli woman whose implants

prevented her

death from an explosion (or gunshot, I can't recall which). And I don't think

body armour

is a reasonable excuse to approve implants.

Rogene, I LOVED the way you worded your message. It's very touching

and well-said. How are you? I'm recovering nicely, I just wish we

weren't moving right now. The timing is not the greatest. Oh,

well...that's what those strapping grandchildren are for, right?

Being Grandma's muscle!! lol

Love & Prayers,

Sunny :)

Thanks Sunny, I take every chance I get to tell the FDA what I think . . . I don't know that they take it to heart . . . but I have my say, and I feel better! I'm doing great . . . preparing for a very busy time. I don't know that I'll be posting much, if at all, when things kick into high gear . . . So, if you don't see my messages here very often, don't worry about me! . . . Just know that everyone is in my prayers and that I'm enjoying life to the hilt. Love, Rogene

Rogene, you are definitely an angel who flew too close to the ground

and got anchored here on the Earth for awhile!

Listen, do you know how many names on a petition it takes to prevent

the government from passing bills, or changing laws? It may be

different in the U.S. I'm researching (today) on our federal site. I

know a few years ago when I was advocating for children, we needed

3,000 to be taken seriously. Anyhoo, when I read the headlines in the

Edmonton Journal (when I was visiting my Mom) and the Justice Minister

wants to jail children 10 and over, not 12 -- which is still a crime,

in my eyes -- something turned inside my heart and I MUST get acive in

petitioning. If it IS in fact OUR government, then we should say what

we want and be heard. I know how frustrating it is to deal with that

mementality, but there is strength in numbers, right?

Love you lots,

Sunny :)

Thanks Sunny . . . I don't feel like an angel . . . I feel like someone held captive until the Lord says "That's enough" . . . LOL! . . . Let's keep praying for freedom for all of us! To my knowledge, in the States, the only instance where number on a petition have the strength of law behind them are when someone gathers names to become a candidate for office - or to put something on the ballot . . . The purpose of these other petitions is to ban together to express our views in a way that lets someone understand how strongly an issue is perceived by the public in the hope that they will consider the view proposed . . . and know that their decision is being scrutinized by the public. Rogene Darling,

I do know what you mean by " being held captive here " ...alot of us

caring folks would just like to be released. When God wants us home,

he'll definitely find a way to take us. Well, he'll have a hard time

taking me with an illness, because I'm believing my health will be

totally restored!!

Love ya lots,

Sunny :)

p.s. I'll let you know what I find out with the Canadian petitions.
