I used to get " bumps " (hard, raised, painful bumps that eventually subsided)

with UC flares - have not had them in years.

I did develop eczema 2-3 years before PSC diagnosis (hmmmmm). It is now

well controlled with just lotion, but it took a heavy duty topical steroid

to knock it back. It has not recurred since my CBD was dilated.

You're positive you have not been exposed to poison oak? Even in the

fall/winter, it can be pretty active (speaking from personal experience). I

knew what poison ivy looked like when we moved in San , but had never

seen poison oak. I managed to climb through a big patch of it rock climbing

once. I had to take a steroid dose pack to get rid of it. I now know (and

can almost smell) poison oak. Theoretically, you're born with a certain

amount of immunity to it, which gets depleted somewhat with each exposure.

Your description does not sound like my experience, however.

Is there anyone in the group who deals with skin problems possibly

related to UC or Crohn's especially during a flare. Rashs that appear

in a pattern/behind the elbows, along both shins etc.. The rash

appears to look like contact dermatitis is fiery red, then eventually

drys out.

Right now I'd like to jump into a vat of Keri lotion

Its possible it could be eczema...it looks like it. I have also had

those bumps as well. Not recently though. Erythema Nodosum.

Speaking of poison oak..I ran into that last August. I had it on my

face and neck. Very unpleasant indeed. The whole west coast is

crawling with it(along the beaches).
