Guest guest
Our family has gone SCD together but it sure isn't always smooth sailing! DH observes it at home but not at work, which is fine. At parties, he is oblivious to my daughter's feelings about non SCD food, which drives me crazy. My 11 year old vetetarian has a " cheat shelf " out of sight because I feel she should have access to some non meat forms of protein such as beans. And because I got sick of her complaining! Our four year old is SCD compliant and likes it. I don't ever want our 8 year old daughter, the one we're doing this for, to feel like it's her fault or responsibility in any way. She has enough on her shoulders with how ill she has been. I also made a commitment to my daughter that this diet trial she wouldn't do alone. She's been through enough alone. , Mom to non ASD, IBD daughter, age 8, SCD five weeks, NO Imodium for 3 weeks, Nortryptaline (migraine prevention), Imitrex, others daughters ages 11, and
