Guest guest
hi to those of you who responded to my questions and concerns about NAC. OK, I will start out with one NAC a day and work up to three a day. I will try not using the Muxcinex. Maybe after I get used to the NAC, if I need Muxcinex I might use it especially if I have been sick as I have been for 3 weeks. Thanks for your help! I talked with my friend in my PREP class (exercise) that had had a lung transplant on dec, 20 and was back at class on jan. 25 exercising. When they put her to sleep for the transplant she thought she was having only a single lung transplanted. When the surgery was over and she was awake, they told her she had had 2 lungs transplanted. They did not even tell her family until the surgery was over. When they started the surgery, they discovered her lung with 70% functioning had worsen. The other lung which they were going to transplant was only 30 % functioning. What a Surprise! She is doing great! She also told me that her pul dr had prescribed NAC for her because he said it would slow the progression of the IPF. Boy am I glad I ordered my NAC!
