Guest guest
Hi All This is a reminder to type words out in full. Please avoid as many abbreviations as you can. We have blind group members, who use computer programmes to read the messages aloud to them. The programmes cannot tell what dh means or mos or oc or btw or acet. or any of the other abbreviations many of us are so fond of using. If you're not sure how to spell the name of a medication you are using, please go and look on your medication bottle. If it's the name of a medication you've heard about, just go to google.com and type the word out to the best of your ability. google.com will almost always figure out what it is you're trying to say. Also, please remember to use your spell checker. For those of you who use Yahoo mail, I realize the spell checker is not the best. It is better than nothing though, so please proof read your messages and use the spell checker. To those members using the read aloud programmes, I apologize for using abbreviations in this post. I have no other concrete way of getting our message across. <grin> -- Lyndi Moderator
