I was so dizzy I couldnt walk across the room. I thought it was a reaction to the new medication I started taking. I was in the emergency room for 7 hours. The Dr that was on cal was a kidney specialist. He told me that I was in beginning stages on kidney failure. (not good) They made me get up and walk then stop, close my eyes, well I started wobbling, he said get back in bed. When we got back to the room he had me stand there while they took my bp I was breathing so hard they were hollering at me to slow my breathing down ( yeah sure easy for them) well I started to faint, so back in bed I went in a hurry. I had a horrible headache. So they took 4 tubes of blood, did a ct of my head, chest x-rays, then went back to ct for my lungs. All clear. My Potassium was 3.2 which is a low normal, found out my thyroid is not working right. So finally they took my upstairs. They took away all my medicine (except tamoxifen, diltazen, topamax) In the morning when they checked my potassium it dropped to 2.3 which is dangerous. Then it starts to affect your heart. So I have been hooked up to potassium IV for 2 days. They are giving me a medicine that keeps the body from sloughing off the potassium. All mytests came back normal this morning. My Dr said that I am not in kidney failure, that Dr Kraemer sometime exagerates things. The good thing I get to get rid of lots of my pills. yeh. I feel much better just weak.
