Guest guest
I saw a plastic surgeon from San Antionio, Texas on a local (San Antionio) station saying that women could avoid scarring by having breast implants placed - AND REMOVED - through the belly button. They interviewed a womwn on whom he'd done the procedure (because she wasn't happy with the huge boobs they gave her) - she said she had the surgery on Friday and was back at work on Monday. However, if facial expression means anything, she still wasn't a happy camper. The FDA specifically recommends that the belly button procedure NOT be done. With all the discussion of implant lawsuits - this makes me feel that he feels very safe - if he can go on TV advocating a procedure that's clearly dangerous! Guest guest
-Rogene, We have a doctor here in Honolulu doing the same thing, can you tell me why the FDA is against this, I want to alert the media. It runs all the time. It makes me sick, they are so perky on the commercial. Guest guest
The FDA cautions about not using the belly button method because of the likelyhood that the implant will be damaged in the process of placing it. Removing them via the belly button is beyond insane! . . . it risks spilling contaminated materials throughout the chest cavity.
