Guest guest
Hello, QUick follow up - I had blood work done last week 3 weeks after a left thyroidectomy and all results were normal, not even close to borderline. Over the last 18m I have had on/off adult acne bouts. It has gotten really bad the last 4 months, then I finally had it under control. Now, 4 weeks post surgery, the acne flare ups are starting up again. Are skin problems related to thyroid issues? I was diagnosed with Hashi's 4 years ago. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Diane! A big yes as to skin problems and thyroid disease. I have had so much trouble especially in the past two or three years with skin rashes, and they are more than one kind all at once. Now that I am on armour(about 5 weeks)My rashes have been clearing up! Can you post your results of the bloodwork? What is called normal may not be normal for you! Symptoms should be a major part of seeing how well your thyroid activity is.Are you on anything now for thyroid? Keep us posted, please!
