Guest guest
Hi everyone. My first appointment with the dialysis center for counseling on choices was pretty nerve racking. I am very squeamish and the sight of blood makes me feel faint. It was almost more than I could deal with. (I almost fainted the first time I tried to change my own earring.) I was leaning towards clinic dialysis but am serioulsy considering a peritoneal implant. Freedom being the biggest issue as I said earlier I am very active, and my husband is very supportive. He says either way and that if I chose the Peritoneal he would take the training and help all he could. Does anyone have a peritoneal and if not what was the main reason you did not choose it? Appearence seems to me it would be a big issue. Your input is greatly appreciated, I don't have to make a decision until Feb. CC
