Guest guest
Finally I am getting some answers whether I like them or not. Neurologist today said that in addition to the DDD in the lumbar spine that is causing the psuedosciatica that I have DDD in the upper spine with bone spurs and bulging disks. My cervical spine has also been found to have mild stenosis which I was told is impacting my upper arms, lower forearms and hands in addition to what the neuropathy has been doing with them and my feet. Clonazepam has been added to the gabapentin to help with the spasticity and hyperreflexia that has been increasing which is linked to the stenosis. What is other's experience with stenosis? Is it stable with medications treating the symptoms? I was told that the surgery to fix this type of problem was far to risky for what my symptoms are now and that he would not consider it. That made me happy cause I have had enough surgeries already. It appears if it worsened that it would be an option if needed. Robin
