Guest guest Posted January 8, 2000 Report Share Posted January 8, 2000 Greetings all. Well, I thought I would share a few things with the group to let everyone know how I am doing. As some people know, I have been doing chemotherapy for awhile for skin cancer. I am doing ok with this treatment, and have experienced very little side effects. My headaches / neck pain are getting worse. This could be in part to the degenerative bone condition that I have. I am in the process of getting ready to go back to see Dr. Menezes, as he is aware of the neck problems that I have been having recently. He may schedule another surgery, to put in a rod to strengthen my neck, as my vertebrae keep breaking. Monday, I shattered my right foot, and tore ligaments in it, just by stubbing my foot in the dark. I saw a podiatrist Tuesday, and from x-rays, they discovered several tumors in my foot (on bones, and on nerves). I will see him again the early part of next week to schedule surgery to remove the tumors and to repair my foot. With all of the stress in my life, my psoriasis is flaring up considerably, but doing fine with it. I finally have received a date for my disability hearing yesterday. It will be February 11. My attorney is very pleased with the judge that was assigned to my case, and feels very confident that it will be approved. Well, enough venting.
