Guest guest
Amita, Yes, Jody brings up a good point. I just took my son to a doctor and asked about his high protein intake. The doctor explained about the wide range between BUN and creatinine in marathon runners. He explained either that one or both of those readings could change with hydration. I am to keep my son well hydrated. Please note, with regard to recent protein discussions, I am not saying that being well hydrated is all one needs when consuming more protein, it is just one important thing. Your DAN! doctor is wise to want to clean up the gut first before prolonged and aggressive chelation. I have a friend who did start a special diet and help the yeast beforehand, and her son is virtually recovered. Whereas, I did not start a special diet as early, or clean up the gut enough before chelation, or combat the yeast. This was a mistake. May you have success helping your son with this issue. Teri Re: regarding comprehensive metabolic panel Amita, Is there any chance your son was dehyrdated, even slightly, when the blood was drawn? If I remember right, the low creatinine can be from dehydration. Jody mom to -5.0 and -7.
