Guest guest
Listmates, Our two little guys love the pecan cookies we make, but they want them everyday at breakfast. They only get 2 or 3 cookies each and I was wondering if giving them every day is a problem. We have not seen any reactions, but these are the only foods that are 7 days a week. We do alternate cookies with veggies and cookies with pear sauce. Has anyone seen problems with 2-3 cookies everyday? If this is not good, any suggestions for a second breakfast food other than meat (meat alone or meat with veggies)??? JL
Guest guest
I don't see why they couldn't keep having these for breakfast..... although you might want to start sneaking very small amounts of pureed, cooked squash or carrots into them or something. If you start with just a minute amount, they may not even notice..... then you can build up to more very gradually and use the cookies as a way to get more veggies into them.
