Guest guest
I need some advice. My son is limited in his fruit intake again. We went back to intro has as soon as he gets more fruit he gets diarrhea. He has never had milk products. I would like to know if there are any moms using dairy with their autistic kids other than the goat yogurt. Is anyone using goat cheese or anything? Also i heard the goats starter from penn has tapioca in it. Is this true, if so what are you using to make it? If this isnt supposed to be on list please email me privately at csac29@... crystal sacco christian sacco 2 years old scd 3 months
Guest guest
Crystal - I just started using the goat cheese with Zachary this week. It is the Woolrich goat cheddar from Whole Foods. So far so good but it's still early, of course. Normal stools and good behavior and language. We are using Thropps Ultrazyme Plus enzymes also. I decided to try the cheese before the yogurt so I would have a better idea of whether he was having a problem with the casein or adjusting to the probiotics if we get negative reactions from the yogurt. Guest guest
We use goat cheese and sheep cheese. You can get yogurt starter from Custom Probiotics. http://www.customprobiotics.com Harry (the owner) will sell you half the amount for half the price. So, you don't have to buy as much at once. I figure out the cost, it was about $1 per quart for the starter, I think. Jody mom to -5.0 and -7.
