Guest guest
Lea, I regained a little of the hair on my body, and since I have upped my thyroid, part of my eyebrows have returned. I don't have to shave my legs or under my arms anymore, however. Lynda At 08:41 AM 11/7/2006, you wrote: >Dearest Friend: > >I have lost all of the hair on my body, but not the hair on my head! Guest guest
Lynda, you are one the first ladies who has admitted that she has lost all of her hair. My doctor who always checks my eyebrows, tells me that it is a good thing, because I no longer have to shave my legs or under arms. He is worried about my eyebrows though. Our Lori was completely bald, I am not sure about the rest of her body. Her feet were bright red! It must be the style of implants! I have a red flush on my face and he always tells me that I no longer have to wear blush. Remember the people who worked on these devices had bright red faces and most died. This wonderful doctor worked at Cross Cancer Institute for 10 years and then I came along. Later he was fired, we think that it was because he believed that the implants caused my problems. This World is very small, because my best friend who's husband was a radiologist at Cross Cancer back in 1977-8, knew that I had problems with my breast implants, but he covered it up. At that time, I had a large lump in my left breast. It was removed later, but no one would admit that it was a hematoma or a granuloma. Stupid me, I did not know until late 1991. I have to have a bone-scan today, hope it will show better results. Oh, the stories that we could tell...love you.....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` hair loss afer explant >> >> > Can anyone share with me how long it took their hairloss to stop after >> > explant or if they are still suffering with it after explant. >> > Hairloss and fibro symptoms have been really bad after my explant, >> > which was only 2 weeks ago, but it would be nice to hear from others >> > about their recoveries. Guest guest
I did not lose any hair on my head until my thyroid went wacky. Then I lost some. Guest guest
I also have an EXTREMELY red face, like a sunburn. It covers my whole face, except for around my eyes (looks like I laid out too long with goggles on!), and it ends at my chin-I have to always wear base makeup (which I hate wearing!) because my face and neck are such opposite colors-my neck is very pale! I've been trying to find something, like a vitamin or supplement that might help, but so far have not come up with anything. I've been told that it could be Candida, and it also could be too many toxins in my liver. Both sound like good possiblities!BSBanshee1@... wrote: Lea, I also have the red to my face its across my cheeks and chin. Implants did that to me!!!! It is amazing what they do to women. Guest guest
If many of you are still losing hair, do you have extremely thin hair or bald spots? Has it continued for years? Guest guest
My hairloss left immediately after explant. I started detoxing and changing my diet long before explant. However, my fibro symptoms are still here and I am 9 months post explant now. Please be patient with your healing, your body has had to deal with a lot, and most it's energies are still trying to heal from your explant surgery. If you are commited to your body and your healing it will take time, so please don't get discouraged. jsandoval819 <sandoval.joni@...> wrote: Can anyone share with me how long it took their hairloss to stop after explant or if they are still suffering with it after explant. Guest guest
Dearest : My rheumatologist who is one of the best here in Edmonton told me that my flushing was a lupus flush. He then told me that I do not have typical lupus and he also said that gastrointestinal attacks are not a symptom of lupus. I disagree with him because some of the women who have called me have these symptoms and have been told that they have lupus! The brain fog is a symptom of lupus because many women wander off and they have no idea of where they were going. I have not done any research on lupus; however, I feel that I suffer from this autoimmune disease. Honey, you should see a good rheumatologist. Do you have night sweats? I know that I still have this symptom and it is not very nice. complains constantly about our cold home...heat is my enemy. Guest guest
Yes, I take 1000mg. per day. I am not sure if this is too much, but so far it seems to help. My main problem is the H-Pylori, the doctors just cannot seem to be able to kill it. The stress that we have been through could be making it worse. Guest guest
-, I cant get my many Dr.s to give me their notes, you are chief complaints, I tell them everything that is going on with me. I just started bringing an updated list of my symptoms. I can't even get these dr.s to look at it, What do I need to say about getting copies of their notes that they write down of stuff we have told them. I feel like yanking them off the counter everytime someone leaves it in the room with me. But I would never, aren't we suppose to be able to ask for them, I just get copies of lab tests. Not actual complaints that I have told them about, I have this red rash on my chest, I keep mentioning to my dr.s and not one has actually checked it out, Terri P -- In , Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: > > Lea, > > My face is always flushed. Guest guest
Hi there, Did you get any responses? I know that some women experienced a reversal of their hair loss symptoms (sometimes it had to do with thyroid issues, which are treatable) and yet there were other women who never experienced improvement in hair loss after explant. Unfortunately, it appears that the length of time you have the implants has little bearing on the length of time it will take you to heal. I've seen too many women remain ill even after having them a very short time. One girl I have recently corresponded with had hers for only 4 months, and 6 years later, she is still suffering from certain symptoms. Others have had their implants for much longer, and yet seem to heal much quicker. Personally, I had the implants for only 9 months in my body total, and yet I still took over 4 years to heal to a great degree, and even longer to realize even more healing. I believe it may have to do with genetic predisposition, as well as our toxicity level at the time of implantation. We all have toxicity levels as individual as our fingerprints, and some may have better detoxification pathways than others. It all makes a difference in how well and how quickly we will heal. So, please don't be too impatient to feel better quickly. It may or may not happen for you. You can certainly hope, and keep working at it, but if it does not happen, it will be important for you to not become too despondent over the slowness of your healing path. I do have one question, however. (Congratulations on your explant, by the way). Were your scar capsules removed when you were explanted?Patty hair loss afer explant Can anyone share with me how long it took their hairloss to stop after explant or if they are still suffering with it after explant. Hairloss and fibro symptoms have been really bad after my explant, which was only 2 weeks ago, but it would be nice to hear from others about their recoveries. I only had my salines for 7 months and was real sick for about 4 months before I realized the implants had to go. I thought I might be feeling better right away, because I was so aggressive time wise with the explant. I haven't started detox yet, which I know I need to do. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.
