Guest guest
It did get MUCH better for me.... My last adjustment went very well for me... and I'm back to full donations now.... It is really horrid though... you have the terrible urge and just race to get there, frantically 'getting into position' then there is barely anything there... I'd often mumble that if I'd been wearing a pad I'd not have had to bother. Since you know EXACTLY what I mean..... I can now be in a public bathroom and the person in the next stall can actually tell that I had to go..... (For those that don't know what I mean... when you have the 'three drop syndrome' there is no 'sound of running water' Not a sound at all, cause there isn't enough there.) I know.. another one of those embarrassing subjects.. but since I've cycled through it soooo many times.... and it's always been linked to being hypo or a dosage increase.. I know that it's some thing that concerns more than just one or two of us. *blush* Topper () On Fri, 2 Apr 2004 13:23:06 +0100 (BST) =?iso-8859-1?q?B=20B?= writes: > > Hiya, > > I like that rationale also. Guest guest
OMG, I've been like that for the last 12-15 yrs or so. I know that the hypo has something to do with it, but, in my case, my big ole uterus sat on top of it for yrs, before it was removed, and the idiot doctor didn't call in a urologist to " string it back up " . I went to a uro several yrs ago, and he found a stricture in the urethra, which I guess is something similar to a kink, or stenosis. He kept trying to stretch it out with those little rods they use, and it was painful, but it worked for a short while, then would happen all over again. I finally gave up, and I don't really know what they've got for that now, in the way of surgery. I've never had a UTI out of it, but I do drink cranberrry juice and lots of water because of it. Here comes all this pressure, and if I was jumping on a trampoline, or some such thing, I'm sure that I would dribble, while my bladder is half full at times, even after trying to empty it. Other times it completely empties, so I'm thinking that maybe the hypo has something to do with it. Tx Re: Urgent Bladder and hypo/dosage adjustments > It did get MUCH better for me.... Guest guest
Yes, I know that I probably should be on the bio-equivalent estrogen and probably progesterone. I haven't gotten around to that one yet. I was on the "toxic horse pee pee" stuff for yrs, and had hot flashes worse than when I wasn't on it. What I now know, is that I was in constant estrogen "overdrive" and had no progesterone, so that was probably one of myriads of things that helped my thyroid function go south. Probably within the last yr or two is when I was actually ready for the bioequivalents. I stopped the estrogen (very very gradually over a 2 month period) back during the summer of '98. See, that was also around about the time that I had the vertigo, so that's why the cause of the vertigo is still so confusing to me. There were/are so many factors to consider, including the female hormones, adrenals, and the supposed anemia that I now have. BTW, I did get back the results of the B12 test, and it shows normal, just barely below the halfway mark. What I'm planning on doing next is a replay of the actual CBCs because, as i said before, they could have been lab error. I do know that they can be badly affected by the blood sitting too long, whether refrigerated or not. The B12 test itself, is a refrigerated blood specimen, but when they did the CBCs, I had to have them retaken because they DIDN'T do them with the thyroid panel like they were supposed to. I'm just wondering if they didn't dump the NEW blood specimen and use the old original one, maybe still sitting up. I know that I can be quite paranoid about medical personnel, but, hey----I work in the middle of it, and not everyone has your best interests at heart, or they just may not care one way or the other. I probably should have had the CBCs done over first, instead of worrying about it, but all the literature says that finding a B12 shortage is very urgent, by the time it has found it's way to showing in the MCV, MCHC, and the RBC count all combined. The MCV was high. If the CBCs are still messed up, then I will do the serum folic acid and the red cell folate. Tx Re: Urgent Bladder and hypo/dosage adjustments The lining of the bladder has T3 receptors. It also has estrogen receptors. My irritable bladder improved greatly when I started Armour. It improved even more on the bio-equivalent estrogen (as opposed to the toxic pharmaceutical stuff).
