Guest guest
Leyna, it's actually not always hard to do. I've been a clown (initial start-up, costume from a thrift store and a few props), dog groomer - $350.00 start-up, did it at home, pet rabbit business - 2 cages, sold at Farmer's Market, ended up with 10 cages - would make $200.00 in 2 hrs, it was called Hare-Raising Experience - me and the kids had lots of fun with that one. With my holistic healing, I took some courses, and continued my own healing journey, on the West Coast for 3 years, made a few posters, and business cards and away I went. It really depends on your interests. If you want to own a store, you have to buy a franchise, etc. Big bucks there. Some people work part-time and build their business on the side. I took a 4-month entrepreneur course, and loved it. With clowning, you can earn up to $150.00/hr. Holistic Healing sessions, I charge $50.00 per session, no matter how long it takes. Most charge $60.00 and up. I also delivered balloon bouquets, as a side with clowning. I'd like to join clowning with healing, and do Laughter Therapy. Do a little research on the net...you may find something that you click with. I don't like being stuck with an hourly wage -- it's just in my blood, I guess. Working with Emma has been a God-send, however, @ $10.00/hr. because with my illness, I couldn't do anything else and needed to stay close to the family. Well, let me know your thoughts about entrepreneuring...good night, for now. Love & thanks for the encouragement, Sunny I take alpha lipoic acid > > > > and have for years. Guest guest
That's not all! I've also sold Water Purifiers, Health Products, done Child Care, Housecleaning, and I've been a Personal Advocate for as long as I can remember, but I do that for free. I love going to court and helping people win! I'm really stumped right now and not getting any clarity yet as to which direction to go. My heart keeps telling me to go back to the Potters Hand and volunteer again - it's a soup kitchen and drop-in for homeless people. Maybe something will come out of that. Who knows? Guest guest
Oh, Rogene, I really appreciate hearing that right about now. I've been really struggling, mentally & emotionally lately. A personal " dark night of the soul " . About a month ago, I was pulling away from this wonderful group, feeling that I wasn't " a part of " and feeling really isolated. Thank God I didn't. I look forward to checking the posts, and connect with everyone. It's a daily comfort for me. Not being paid for 9 weeks has taken a bit of a toll on me, however, as I mentioned before....lots of blessings, otherwise. My former fiance fixing my car, tonight I babysat & 's friends 2 children, as well as my grandkids (minus ) and got an extra $20.00. Then my son Mike got some unexpected cash and laid a $40.00 gift on his ole Mom. I owe him $50.00 when I get paid, which I hear should be next Tuesday or Wednesday. Oh, Lord you are teaching me patience. Or is it endurance! Oh, at my age I dream of a rich, grey-haired knight riding into town and sweeping off my feet, and taking me to live in a cozy, country cabin. Did I mention I have to give " Cutie " a new home? With my lung problems and all, and her disturbing our sleep every night - plus she's an illegal tenant, I thought it best. Found a good home for her...she'll be leaving us next Tuesday evening. It's another letting go exercise to do with my sister. Miss that ole girl alot. O.K., girl, back to reality. Hope your arm is healing well. Square-dancing sounds fun. I've been threatening to take Latino Dancing Lessons just to spice things up in my life. I miss dancing. Well, I must get some shut-eye. It's been a long day.
