I know each child is different, but does it seem okay to introduce nut flour

once nut butters are tolerated? I mean, around ten days or so into the diet?

Or are they generally not introduced until later? My 11-yr old is eating stage

2 fruits at this point, plus meats and eggs.

I think it depends on each person as we are all different. For me I can

tolerate nut flour and baked goods more than just nut butters.

We did not get to stage 2 stuff as quickly as that, but I guess if

those foods are tolerated, you could try to intro nut flours.

Slowly. One muffin or pancake the first day. (Actually Elaine

recommends 1/4 muffin the first day!)

The first time I gave almond flour, school reported my son was " very

tired " , and not himself. I pulled it for a week, and tried again.

No seeming reactions that time (?!)

We just tried walnut flour a couple weeks ago, and Adam was quite

grouchy for a couple days (even my daughter asked " why is he so

grouchy? " ) So I pulled it, and will try again soon. Not positive

its nut flour reaction, but have to try a couple of times.

Note that there was just a short discussion between Cecelia and

Patti about introducing raw fruits fairly early - that despite no

stool problems with raw fruit, it may not be best to intro them too

soon (not until several weeks/months?)... you may want to look for

these posts, over the past week.
