Guest guest
Friends: In my offline life, I am a pediatric pathologist with major interest in perinatal pathology (that is, I'm interested in disease processes related to pregnancy and childbirth). One of the subjects I teach at the University of Rochester is diagnosis of birth defects. I am preparing a teaching unit for residents on syndromes that include hearing loss and kidney disease. I know there are people on this list who have children with both problems. Would you be willing to share your child's story with me and let me share his/her story with my residents? No real names will be used, of course. It would be a much more real excercise if I can use a real story. Please contact me off list and I will tell you what kind of information I want. You can use my home email (metlionsky@...) or my office email (leon_metlay@...). If you want to call my office to make sure I'm for real, I'm in the Division of Neuropathology and Postmortem Medicine (I couldn't possibly make up a name like that ;-])at . The main University of Rochester Medical Center number is . Thank you for your attention. Leon Leon Metlay and Nina Klionsky metlionsky@...
