Guest guest Posted September 7, 2001 Report Share Posted September 7, 2001 we do the same thing as OPD and others.. we ask either " are you 10-12(with subject) " and wait for the go ahead or will use 10-35(confidential info) or 10-45 (warrant). If they are alone, I usually start a second unit prior to giving back any information.. this alone usually will put the initial officer on alert that he's going to hear something that the bad guy already knows. luckily we don't have that many here... and as a plus, the last one couldn't have made it any easier.
