Yes, I have the book but it doesn't say why canned beans are impermissible.

Unfortunately my son loves canned lima and green beans but not fresh or frozen.

Maybe now I know why! Thanks for the info.

Thanks Sheila! I tried boiling the green beans nearly to death and he ate

some yesterday so we are thrilled! Already we are noticing he seems less

irritable less OCD-ish. Probably all in my head since this is day 3 but it

gives us

a little hope

That's great news.

I think that you can probably slowly decrease the cooking time on the

frozen vegetables to point where they haven't been cooked to death...LOL.

But I would feed them to him the way he will eat them for now.

Maybe in the future, you can reduce the cooking time in 2 minute

increments and he will not notice.
