Guest guest
angie, if you must do a 7/7 , do it with diet 7up. I drink rum and diet coke, it felt funny at first to order a drink that way, but amazing amounts of people do it anyway, just thinking they are restricting calories.... get right back on, you could have had mc donalds, just not the fries or bread, pick yer munchies girl, there is alot out there you can have.... plan women.... now jump back on and welcome back..... Guest guest
Angie: I'm sure a lot of people can commiserate with you. As for myself, I eat at Mcs now and again. I order a chicken caesar salad shaker w/ranch dressing (or I bring my own dressing) for a total of 5 carbs (3 for the salad, 2 for dressing I don't get the croutons obviously) and a quarter pounder with cheese, plain, no bun - 1 carb (I would like the lettuce and such, but it's too hard to get them to make it right when you want no bun, no ketchup, etc). If I have atkins rolls available, I take two of them with me and eat my burger on them. (You can find the recipe for the Atkins rolls in the files section for our mailing list). Guest guest
whew!! I thought by the subject line that you had a bad weekend Robin... How's it going? Are you back in ketosis and eating veggies yet? Kirstie
Guest guest
Hard liquor (trace carbs), diet soda as mix. The drier the wine, the fewer the carbs. Just remember that even though alcohol can be relatively low in carbs, the calories from it will still be metabolized before fat burning continues and a drink in the hand can lead to two nachos in the mouth Kirstie
Guest guest
I had a treat last night - whipped cream with cocoa powder and AS I was feeling very sorry for myself. I left school at 3:52 pm, had to stop and get a report put on trasparencies for a presentation and go to 3 different grocery stores to find what I needed, get gas, do the long commute home and it was 7:00 pm. I'd left before my hubby got up in the morning, and came home after he'd left for his woodworking class (7-10pm). Next time, I'll try and just go for a walk instead of turning to a treat for comfort. The good news is that I'm now almost set to do an elimination diet again! Kirstie
Guest guest
Kirstie - don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do.
