Guest guest
Hi Tammy, and welcome to our ever-growing family here. I hope that you find as I do, that this is a wonderfully supportive, caring group who will try and help you any way we can.... The chats are held on AOL's Instant Messenger, however, I have not seen our "chat momma" Felice online lately and have to find out. If you download Instant Messenger, we can add you to our "buddy lists" and we'll invite you into the chats when we see you online. Let us know of your AOL screen name once you've got one! Again, welcome, Hugs, Jo "Let Love, Faith and a little laughter keep everything in perspective" Deb, Jo & Felice Listowners RSD-CRPS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WAIVER No advise given by any member of this group is to be misconstrued as a reason to start, stop or add anything to your treatment plan including medications and procedures recommended by your physician. Guest guest
Hi, My name is Tammy and i was injured Jan 2001 when started to fall and caught myself, i sprained a rib and tore the muscles on my left side, i was sent to PT which only caused the muscles to tear further and caused my left lung to collaspe. a chest tube was inserted throught the torn muscle to drain the fluid off my lung and shortly after it was removed i started experiencing intense burning, stabbing horrible pain. my side turned red and blistered and i was diagnosed with rsd. Needless to say, it has been one long year, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator, infusion pump, tons of meds, PT, pool therapy, pain management course, MFR therapy, acupuncture, shrink, ICE , hot baths, bio feedback and I just keep getting worse. Last week after feeling all alone with this monster i looked it up on the net WOW, not only am i not alone, but i'm in the same boat with thousands of others. My RSD was diagnosed about 1 week after it started and i was sent to a pain mgt specialist, he started on the many aggressive treatments listed above in hopes of quickly reversing the RSD, to no avail. i have found it extremely difficult to get into the RSD chat rooms and when i finally did it no one is ever there, i still havn't been able to access AOL instant messenger but i'm still trying. I look forward to hearing from anyone with RSD my family and friends have been wonderfully supportive, but they just can't comprehend how much pain a person can be in and still survive. Please email me at mlt21212@... i'll look forward to hearing from you and will quickly answer all messages. thanks to all for listening, your friend in pain, tammy debgena@... wrote: Hi Guys,Please help me in welcoming Tammy to our family.Tammy please tell us a little about yourself. If you wish to read our stories you may find them in the files section of the lists main site.mlt21212@... from tightwad, MO Hugs and a pain free minute,Deborah (Deb) ô¿ôDebgena@...
