But would you have characterized her problem as either " burnout " or

" boredom " ? It sounds more like the reality of the job (stress and

responsibility) was getting through and she felt she couldn't handle

it. It may be harsh, but it seems to me that it is better to have

an employee discover it during training rather than hanging on and

losing it when they are really needed.

Of course, I've been wrong before.
