Hey everybody,

Good news and bad news and I'm not really sure which is which. You can

decide for yourselves.

's dr meet and discussed her case and decided that they didn't know

enough about MRSA to treat it properly and they definitely would not

send her home on Vancocin .......

so ...........they gave her the choice to go to a larger hospital an

hour away or go back to Rosner in NC. Well guess what she choose???

Finally a good decision she is going to go to NC either this afternoon

or tomorrow some time. But they are sending her by personal vehicle.

Is this safe to ride that far with a PIC Line in and having just taken a

bag of IV meds?

They gave her IV meds at 1pm, 9pm, and continued to try to get an IV all

night. She called at 5 am just sobbing her heart out. is a pretty

tough cookie and IVs usually don't bother her and they normally go in

very easily. So all of these sticks are getting to her.

She is having short episodes of talking with a thick tongue, speech gets

real slurred to garbled, and she is out like a light for a while and she

breathes fun when she is asleep. What is that all about?
