Did you ever consider going to Quechee instead of White River Junction for

the meeting in June? Quechee has better restaurants and is much more

interesting for tourists than White River would be. Just a thought. Let me

Sorry I'm late with my reply, but I thought I let you know weeks ago that

Gerry and I could only stay one night. I think what we'll do is go down on

Saturday and meet up with you guys. We'll take care of our own

accommodations. We may decide to drive back home late Saturday night as it

is only a 2 hour or less drive for us. But in any case, we'll be there but

don't save us a room. We'll deal with it ourselves. Keep me informed of

Well I did make the reservations this afternoon, because I had promised

her I would get back to her today. Where I didn't hear from you or Alan

one way or the other, I had to make that decision. But, thats no

problem, I can cancel anytime, and maybe I will hang on before I cancel

you never know some one else may decide to come. It's at the Quality

Inn at Quechee Gorge. I am sorry you won't be there the entire

We really appreciate the invitation and will really miss being with the

group.Our granddaughter's High School graduation is on the 7th of June and

Jane feels as though two additional weeks at my daughter's is more than

she wants to spend.We love our kids ( got 9 ) ,but find that in our advancing

years that peace and quiet are essential , too.

ANYWAY , our thoughts and prayers will be with you.We know how uplifting

it is to meet with others who are enjoying the same dilemas we do.We have met

a couple of times with Byron and Carol ,and , Martha when we visit one of our

other daughter's in Sanford ,Fl.. We have also met with Joe and Carol , whom

we now consider a close friend.

Bottom Line......can't do it ,but wish you a weekend of great fun ! !

I have not heard from Alan regarding our weekend. I heard from Sue she

is not interested in spending the entire weekend with us (I guess one

day is all she can handle) Mark can't make it, his wife has duty that

weekend. I have the rooms reserved, sure hope Alan plans to still join

us. Sue will come & spend the day. Oh well, thats the way it goes.

Bob from Florida said he was going to be in Framingham, Mass. for a

graduation, said he would love to join us, if your out there Bob, do you
