I'm not in ketosis yet, probably tomorrow, but I've lost 8 of the 10 pounds

I put on while sick. Maybe it's finally time for the pounds to start coming

off for good, instead of yo-yoing.

I'm down another 1/2 pound this morning - I'm at 1/2 RobinSpeed - which is

pretty nice :)

I actually reset my weight on the chart. I usually just don't pay any

attention to the bounces and go by each new lowest number on the scales, but

this time the bounce has been longer than normal and my strictness of

low-carbing (maintenance levels rather than weight loss levels) has been

weaker, so I figured it's time to get to see some little red numbers by my

name again ;)

My plan for today:

#1 - remember to bring purse so that I can have some tea!!!

breakfast:

2 hardboiled eggs

lunch:

2 oz. cheddar cheese

1/2 portion of beef stirfry left over from last night (beef, bean sprouts,

snow peas, onion, celery, brocolli, zucchini) - no soya sauce which makes it

pretty boring!! blech!

1 oz. sunflower seeds

dinner:

some sort of grilled meat (steak again? dunno what's in the freezer) and

steamed veggies

beverages:

2 cups of tea w/ AS and cream

water: goal of 100 oz.

Kirstie - you are really doing a great job! When I'm not going to do soy

sauce (which bloats me, but other than that I don't have any allergic

symptoms to THIS soy product - and I use the light - which is much less

'bloative') I stir fry it in peanut oil with a very, very generous splash

of toasted sesame oil and alot of fresh garlic. Sometimes (usually) I add

fresh ginger as well. Even without the soy, the toasted sesame oil gives it

some flavor.

Today I had:

16 oz of coffee with heavy cream and splenda

Lunch: Pork rinds with tuna salad and one roma tomato

Dinner: 2 chicken breasts with skin and a nice tossed salad (Dole Italian

Blend lettuce) with my homeade sesame-ginger dressing.

120 oz of water throughout the day.

We are having a carry-in tomorrow. I'm bringing dip and pork rinds. I can

only hope that there will be some other Atkins-friendly goodies there.
