Guest guest Posted April 23, 2008 Report Share Posted April 23, 2008 My insurance would not approve Amitiza and it is the only medication that helped me with my bowel problem. I have tried pretty much everything else out there. My doctor wrote a letter to my insurance company explaining this and that's what it took for them to approve it for me. I love my doctor.
