My husband & I are thinking of possibly taking a ride up there and check out the hotels. Heck, we have nothing better to do, and with gas $1.65/gal, gotta help the economy. I just have to find out who needs a handicapped room. I usually try to get one if I go away, however, if someone needs it worse than I do, I can get along without it for one night. I have an NSS (National Speleological Society -- a bunch of cave explorers) convention in WV at the end of June, so I should be on the East Coast this summer. Three summers ago I made the drive from Acadia National Park to MD in an easy two days. Once I find out how many are planning to attend, I will attempt to reserve a block of rooms in a hotel/motel, you certainly would not have to sleep in your truck (unless you want too).
