Hi Social Director,

Bob and Jane here ! We live in Florida but will be at our daughters

high school graduation in Framingham,Mass on June 7,2000.We would be very

interested in attending the gathering if it is sometime relatively near that

date.We can always stay at our daughter's until she throws us out. Will be

keeping watch.

Hi Bob & Jane:

We would love to have you join us, and as soon as we come up with a date

and decide where and how long we are going to get together, we will

pass it on.

, Mark, Sue & the rest of the NE Connection, I am looking at my

calendar for June and wonder first of all, before we decide where, lets

decide how many days, or are we going to do just an over night trip,

lets have some ideas. Before you know it, it will be June. We gotta

start some time, so lets do it. Do you want to do it during the week,

or over a weekend? Lets get snapping.

Rita,

That timing (3rd week in June) sounds OK with me. Lets pin it down soon so

I can mark the time off in Gerry's schedule. It's a busy time in real

estate so we need to get time on the books! An overnight visit would be

very nice. Maybe a nice hotel somewhere, a nice dinner, and lots of

conversation! I'm looking forward to getting together again. The first

meeting was too short! Remember gang, " the more, the merrier " . Take care,

Sue

Rita.

Jane and I are retired and have no preference whether we should meet

on a weekend or a weekday.Weekdays usually mean less traffic. An overnight

should be OK .Guess we should set a date and a place inorder to get

started.somewhere in the week of 6/11 to 6/17 probably would fit with Joe's

suggestion. The place will have to be left to the " locals " ........Bob

Sounds good to all of us. I have written to Joe Alberstadt, to see if

he could make it that week. I would really love to meet him, and I

think everyone else would also. As soon as I hear from him, I will

contact the group.

Any idea as to where you would think is a good place to meet, or do I

have to make that decision again!!! Decisions, decisions!!!

I was thinking (watch out), maybe we should stick to the area we met

last time. It seems pretty central for most of us, this time maybe

somewhere in White River Junction, seems to me there should be some nice

spots there, or what do the rest of you think? We don't want to spend

all our time driving. The one who has to drive the most distance is Joe

Alberstadt.

Just need to know what the rest of you think, also who will need

handicapped rooms, we certainly can't room together (although it might

be fun), I can survive one night without one, how about the rest of you?

Rita, why don't you just e-mail Joe instead of mail?Regarding the meeting

place, let me think of where we could possibly go,the CT.shore line would be

to expensive that time of the year, how about something like Sturbridge

Village, that would be rather central for people coming from outside of NE.or

would you all like to go somewhere further north, like one of the ski

resorts, they do have some attractive rates in the summer.Lets, think about

those options.

You are so right! Joe & I go way back, and I will just about anything

to get to meet him. Do you have a problem with the third week in June.

How long you going to hang out in Framingham?

I have e-mailed Joe direct, and he has a pretty tight schedule. It

looks like no matter what date we pic, he is not sure if he can make it.

First he said the third week in June, now he is saying th possibly June

30, with no promises. So I guess we go on the date we agree and hope he

can make it.

As for your suggestions, they all sound good to me. I have yet to hear

from Mark, and Sue sounds like they are all set. I still have not heard

what idea she may have come up with. Now we have Bob who will be in

Framingham, MA and he want to join us, and I hope by the time this all

falls into place there will be other's, like Sue said, the more the

merrier.

So, as soon as we hear from Mark, and the idea that Sue may have, as to

where she might like to have us meet, than we can setup something

definate.

I hope we could reach a decision by the end of this week.

Mark, if your reading this, lets hear from you soon.

Hi Rita,

I don't know where people are coming from (location that is!). White River

is a pretty long

trek from CT. But whatever is central to the group is fine. Overnight

would be good. I'd probably bring the family, so a heated pool would be a

plus. Weekend best for us, we both work. Thanks for coordinating.

It took 2 1/2 hours to drive to here, from CT., and it took Sue &

her husband about the same lenght of time. I hate to see anybody have

to drive more than that distance. Where in CT are you coming from, I

gotta get my map out.

Rita,

Let me think about it for awhile. I'll talk with Gerry and get back to you

soon. I think we should pick a spot and time, let folks know and hope for

the best. Maybe if we can get things finalized far enough in advance,

people will have time to plan vacation then. Talk with you soon. Ain't

life grand!!??!!

Thanks Sue:

I try so hard to please everyone! But it ain't working out. Mark seems

to be the one with the real problem where his wife is a doctor. I agree

with you we pick a date, and a place and go for it!

Rita,

Maybe I should get the map out.

From my skiing days, I thought White River was 4 hours away. Could be

wrong.

Whatever works for the group will be fine.

I have been thinking about all of this, and this is my feelings and

s. We would like to accommodate everyone, but it looks like we

can't. We always seem to pick a date that we all CAN agree on, soooo in

all fairness to Sue & her husband, who would really have a long drive,

if we changed the location. If you agree, why don't we do White River

Junction on the weekend of the 23rd. I think this is mileage wise a

little shorter for her and also you, am I right?

Now my question is do you want to check in Friday or Saturday? Makes no

difference to us.

Now, thats my thoughts. If anybody else wants to take over and come up

with a better plan, than I have no problem with that either. Just think

we have to make a final decision.
