: I just wanted to comment on how information you have passed

along may apply to student with Lawrence-Moon Bardet- Biedl Syndrome.

I have now experienced 4 students with this Syndrome. One boy has also

what appears to be classic Asbergers (on the autism spectrum). In

review of his history with parents, similar experiences as the

reference material we've been looking at. (example Children with

Starving Brains). He had developed measels at 7 weeks. Later in

dev'p, they gave him the MMR shot anyway. Lots of eposodes of night

screaming, loss of dev'p., aquired language which he then lost. Speech

didn't appear again until age 3. Difficulty with elimination. Some OCD

episodes. When he developed chicken pox, it was so severe he had the

blisters for 3 weeks and also internally. (signals autoimmune problem)

Early food allergy to milk, which he now has back in diet frequently and

in large quanitities as its his favourite. ( He will choose bagel and

lrg. milk for any meal if he could.) In Grade 7, after Hep B shot, his

behaviour changed more. Loss of eye contact, social withdrawl,

Obsessive behaviour on Star Wars. Shutters and wipes off any touch of

others and onto any of his possessions. Has eposodes of not being

there, and will sometimes talk to himself. Everything is excessively

orderly. I thought you would find this case interesting. I did a quick

A.K. muscle test with food earlier in Sept., and his muscles could not

hold contraction with wheat, dairy , and sugar. Anyway, I'm giving

parents some of the reference material, and I thought you would find it

interesting.
