Guest guest
Gretchen, It is hard for me to remember...exactly. I do remember that I felt " great " after the surgery. Really great.....to the point I was ecstatic!!! I attribute that to the saline and antibiotics and the flushing of some of the toxins out of my blood due to the saline drip...etc. I had my surgery on a Thursday and drove myself to the doctor the following Monday which was an hour away for the follow up. My surgery was the explant, total capsulectomy and a full T-Lift. I slept a LOT and whenever I wanted for a good two weeks or more after the surgery. You have have two surgeries in less than 6 or 7 weeks. Please give yourself some time. Your anxiety and worrying may be contributing to some of this. Do you think??? That said, I can not get a handle on exactly what your symptons of brain fog are. My brain fog didn't come and go suddenly. It was like it was always with me...just more prevalent at certain times. As others here described it, it was like a " feeling of light headedness " , inability to really focus or hyperfocus, like " looking from the outside in " . Perhaps a better way to explain it, is that it was like being in " oberver mode " . You are there but simply observing with an inability to " live in the moment " . Hope that makes some sense. Is this how yours is or is it different? Guest guest
Well i feel worried that I didnt get drains. Do you think i will get well slower because of this? I am taking antibiotics and he did clean me out with saline. Yes, mine is kind of always with me and more prevalant at certain times. I can feel 100% at one moment then all of a sudden i kind of get a little dizzier, observer mode, not living in the moment. Everyone around me feels like they are not there.. cant remember anything.. in a fog and not alive. I know the difference because i can feel 100% alive then the next minute just in a daze.. cant talk well or read well and get very quiet and out of it. I feel very calm when im not in it, but when it increases thats why I panic. I feel like i cant think.. im smarter than this and will i live in fear of this forever? I feel like how can i ever go back to work or even go to the store if it flares up? Sound familiar? > Gretchen, > It is hard for me to remember...exactly. Guest guest
Not always just sometime if I fail the yeast test. Spit test!!!! I did go to the ob/gyn and got a pap test came back normal, as all the test do with these stupid implants. I figure yeast so I continue the diet and did the diflucan, nystatin then waited a while now epi-core. It seem impossible to rid yeast and dryness all over my skin as well. Thanks, Donna

Guest guest
You're not being vulgar at all. Have you had a doctor diagnose yeast for this? At your next PAP test, you might ask your doctor if you have any vaginal atrophy, just to be sure. It's easily treated. Do you have it all the time, or just sometimes? I have atrophy due to menopause. It was slow to come on but never changed prior to vaginal estrogen suppositories. Guest guest
Sandy and Gretchy, You've both described brain fog well....it's so hard to describe so that others understand that weird feeling! Gretchy, I didn't get drains either when my saline implants were removed. I regret that my doctor didn't use them, but it is in the past now. I was very bruised. Looked like I had been smacked in the chest by a truck. My personal feeling is that my healing probably took longer because I did not have drains, but I cannot say for certain. I do know that women who have had good explant procedures with drains have gotten better faster than I did. But don't stress about this...you'll survive it. Women have survived with injections even...so your exposure to the silicone gel was minimal. You may deal with some issues for a period of time, but with time and attention to detoxification and getting healthy again, I feel certain that you are going to be close to normal again someday. Just be patient and let your body do its thing of healing in its own time. Patty Re: Brain fog? Well i feel worried that I didnt get drains. Do you think i will getwell slower because of this? Guest guest
Zelly, I will pray that you feel better too! Hopefully if these are hormonal symptoms, (and they do sound like they are strongly correlated to hormones), your explant will allow your body to recover normal hormonal function. You might have to have it monitored though and get some help with that if possible. However, hormones are notoriously hard to monitor! Yuckyy brain fog.....you described it well. You are lucky yours comes and goes. Mine was constant. Hopefully after explant you will experience very quick recovery of some symptoms, although I am sure you already realize this will take some time to get over completely. But you are doing the right thing and your body will appreciate you for it. Take care and God bless, Patty Brain fog? I have read many posts about experincing brain fogs. I really wonder if I ever had them. I did notice that I have been terribly distracted, but I always attributed it to depression because of my illness. I do remember feeling like I was spaced out, although that was not frequent. Still it is a weird feeling, like the one you get after drinking alcohol (light head?). If this is the brain fog, then I definatelly have it. In my case it comes and goes, it is not constant. Sometimes I kind of felt that i was there but not there??I would say that the symptoms that bother me the most are the dryness (eyes, vagina, skin, and hair, the mouth is o.k.), and the weird lack of sensitivity all over my chest, neck, shoulders and face. All my blood tests have been negative so far.I pray that I get to feel better after tomorrow.Zelly Looking for earth-friendly autos? Browse Top Cars by "Green Rating" at Autos' Green Center. Guest guest
I don't remember who right now, but one of our ladies experienced virtually overnight relief when she stopped using an artifical sweetener. I'd suggest taking a serious look at ALL your foods. . . Especially anything you buy prepared . . . Concentrate on buying whole grain bread/cereal/pasta, fresh fruit and vegetables. . . or, (Rubin says) frozen veggies are preferable to non-organic veggies. Guest guest
Hi Maritza, Yes...it was an eye opener for me also. If you do a search on Splenda...you will see all the controversy about it. It is made by a subsidiary of and . I know a lady who is the wife of a doctor. She took a drink made with Splenda into the office of her dermatologist. As she drank it, they sat there and watched her skin bubble up. She said, they think the Splenda initiated a very bad skin disorder. She called its' name but I forget it at the moment. Also...I called the Splenda company myself over a year ago. When I told them my symptons, the immediately put me thru to there " Medical Review Board " . They told me they have heard complainst of skin rashes, abdominal issues...etc...etc. Still it is on the market and we are the guinea pigs. Sound familiar??? I am not saying everyone will react. But I certainly did and so have others. When I drink diet coke with splenda, I start itching and bloating. I hope the info is of some use to you. > > > > Terri, > > > > Thanks I will try I did the olive oil this morning and it worked > great just > > worried dont want the rash on my chest to get worse? > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Expecting?
