Guest guest
I think this whole thing with Iraq is popostrious. Let me state first that Saddam doesnt have nuclear weaposn. One might ask how do I know. Well I lived in the Middle east and trust me I doubt lit will happen. Bush had no right what so ever to send the us millitary to fight a pointless war. May I add that he is the one who will be starting a a mass genocide. There are lives in sake here people. all bush wants is OIL. and as stupid as he was he even told the iraqi people in his speech not todestry oil wells. How contradictory is that. How can you say that Saddam is evil, whne Bush is being evil as well. its a sad world out there n I hope someday that people come to a point to relize that war is POINTLESS. Guest guest
can we keep the charge list non-political and focused on charge? people have differing views... Guest guest
again, this is a place for SUPPORT re CHARGE issues. There are other places to express your political opinions, such as writing to government officials. Some of us may have children serving our country, and we need to be proud and supportive of America. This is not a political forum. barbra m The war > > > > > > > I think this whole thing with Iraq is popostrious. Let me state > > > first that Saddam doesnt have nuclear weaposn. Guest guest
This list is for talking about CHARGE syndrome. Yes sometimes the stuff we have to deal with is politcal, and can be seen as a " war " this list is not for the discussion of the war on iraq. There are so many of us that im sure our opinions differ, specialy since so many of us also come from countries outside of the US, countries that the government is for, and others the government is against. If you want to talk about the Iraq situation, please find a political group. This is not the place to talk about it. Chantelle

Guest guest
Since has CHARGE I think his views and opinions are an appropriate focus of this list. The war is a huge factor in all of our lives. None of us are not touched in some way by the current circumstances. As long as people don't point fingers or act demeaning toward others I feel that such a major happening is within the realm of the topics that are okay. Some people will vent, some will express opinions and both of those approaches are within the limits of the list. As with any piece of information posted here on the charge-list, do not read it if it is not of interest. And to help people know what the subject of a post is, please list them accurately in the subject line.
Guest guest
From the keyboard of Keedy: > Since has CHARGE I think his views and opinions are an appropriate > focus of this list. ... Oops!! I had forgotten this and owe him an apology. I'm sorry for my post. I'll try to pay better attention. Guest guest
Ken, I believe each of us has the right to express opinions on this list. However, I think the comment below was not appropriate and deserves an apology. Implying that a list member is delusional because they have a different opinion than you is not acceptable. We all have opinions about these very serious matters. Please let us respect each other. Re: The war If you don't think Saddam needs to be stopped, then you are dillusional. paulus_khouri wrote: I think this whole thing with Iraq is popostrious. Guest guest
I might be wrong, and I apologize in advance if I missed the point, but I think this was not about opinions about the war or being supportive of the troops (which incidentally, I very much am) but about referring to another list member as delusional. Perhaps the phrase was used by Ken to express a belief in the degree to which Saddam Hussein disregards human life, but it could also be taken by the recipient as unkind and disrespectful. Perhaps to disagree with the war without being mindful of the sacrifices our troops and their families are making can be interpreted as unkind and disrespectful. Sometimes when we haven't walked in those shoes we are not aware of how what we have uttered might be taken. We each can only speak from our own experience. I only wish that this could become an opportunity to educate and enlighten. To me this list is a haven of open hearts. If something reads in a sharp way, I always presume that it is because tone and intent does not come across in email. Let peace begin with me, and may all be kept from harms way. Yuka ..
