I am in Illinois I'm in the Quad Cities, I didn't have my surgery in Peoria

it was here Quad City area. We do have a support group I know its a travel

but we have people that drive a long ways to come. If you want to ask any

question don't' hesitate to email me privately as well.

Hi, I was just wondering if you were from illinois and had your surgery in

peoria? I thought that I had read that you were somewhere around here.

Theresa, actually the Peoria surgical group (OSF) has a fantastic support

system set up. the DR actually has a coordinator which is really helpful..

There are a lot of hoops to go through but I beleive it is all worth it. ie

pre-op class, nutrition class and psych eval. I can not imagine going throught

this with out it. In addition the support here is fantastic, anyone considering

surgery should follow the post for the wealth of information.
