Guest guest
Hello everyone! I so appreciate the support I got with my crisis!(see*Doc nearly killed me) I promise to help someone else if I can once I get to feeling normal again. I'm honestly so bad off just getting through my day is a struggle . I only do what I have to do(and sometimes not even able to do that) I just hurt severely especially in my back arms and shoulder areas. I feel like my mental capacity is shot(I forget important things, like paying the house payment, balancing a checkbook ect.) Anyway, I have seen people get help with their test results and wanted to list a few of mine. I am currently taking synthroid 150mg during the week and 137mg on the weekends.(Has anyone else ever taking synthroid like this) Oh and I must say I have only taking synthroid for the past 8 yrs with no problems until Feb. 2003. Cytomel 5MCG And 1 dose thus far of 50,000 iu Vitamin D(I actually feel worse since taking this first dose) Here are the things that were flagged as not being normal. Cortisol - flagged as being High - 28.6 Vitamin D - 14 WBC - 11.6 (does this mean white blood count? Does this mean I have an infection?) NE# - 8.67 (does anyone know what this is?) Potassium - 3.4 God Bless you all! It is no nice to know I'm not the only one with these types of problems! -Dana ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here

Guest guest
Hi Dana! Welcome to the group! I am Feisty (aka ThyroFeisty) one of the co-owners of the group.I have been quiet lately as I have been coping with the flu.....still! I read aghast of your account with the doctor! I am sure you will be so much a thyroid patient advocate, once you start feeling more the thing. We know wqhere you are coming from with daily life being a struggle.I have a degree in Finance, and yet sometimes, I cant even add 2 and 2! Then I get down on myself, and the depression sets in. I am still awed at how much the thyroid disease can affect enotions and mental states! Besides depression, thyroid disease is often connected with anxiety, paranoia, bi-polar,obsessive-compulsive disorders, even eating disorders! And also phobias! The members of this group are so loving, supportive and wise! We have all suffered similar things with our thyroid diseases, no matter if we are hypo, have hashimoto's , graves, caner, or have undergone surgery or RAI. Guest guest
You are so right . I know I am jumping the gun. I will just wait till my new labs get in 21/2 weeks again. ;( I'm not a patient person. I always got my results from my family doc in 3 days. I guess I'm spoiled for that. Take care! I'll be in touch -Dana -- Re: Lab result questions Neurophils(?) Lab result questions Hello everyone!
