,

do you happen to have a picture of your dad and the officer together? maybe a

nice framed picture of them together? just a thought.

First thing, Don says, is a letter to his leader, Capt at patrol office, or if

he works at the hospital.

On a more personal note, don't know how much $$ you have, perhaps a night at a

B & B or a gift cert to a nice restaurant. He also lost a patient and friend.

Don't know how personal you wanna get.

I need some ideas here OT

I need some suggestions here ! As most of you know my dad passed away on May

15th and I have been struggling with this and now here is where I need help .

Here we have a law officer go with the ambulance and my dad has been either a

constable or a reserve deputy for thirty years and when the 911 call went out a

very nice officer by the name of went on the call and when he got there

he started working with my dad to try to save him also him and dad were friends

and he left his patrol car and told my son to lock it and he went to the

hospital as a RN as he is also a registered nurse and I want to do something

special for him for going above and beyond the call of duty and I need some

ideas ! I have a nice card all ready for him but it just don't feel like enough

of a thank you for my heart to show him the love and gratitude I have for him

now .

It is a huge ad but the part about him reads Roth you went above and

beyond your duty , you are a very special man you came to our fathers home as a

police officer and when you saw my dad's condition you said to my son lock my

car and you crawled in the ambulance and left as an RN working to try to save my

dad and mere words will never be enough to thank you for what you did , you are

and always will be an angel to me !

Does this sound OK ?

- I think the card would be enough. But if you really wanted to include a

gift, how about something homemade? A special ornament, or something to use in

his squad car maybe? I'm not too creative when it comes to ideas, but that's

what came to my mind.

I'm not sure of the cost, but what if you could have a picture of your

husband overlain with a picture of the officer -- since you don't have one of

them together. With a very nice frame, this might be the " ideal " solution.
