Guest guest
There seems to be many women that have a few children and progress with their ACM symptoms after each child. Does having an epidural during childbirth have somethig to do with the progression of ACM? Gwyn
Guest guest
I have been told by my nsg, that any reduction, even minor can allow the malformation to progres. this is due to the fact that the amount of fluid in the spine stays in balance, by fluid taking up space and putting pressure on the herniation, this balance, basically keeps the malformation in place. if the balance is upset,, by say a spinal tap, or epidural.... the the herniation has room to stretch out, and when the fluid is reinjected, as it is with the epidural, then it gets further cramped... i think epidurals & ACM There seems to be many women that have a few children and progress with their ACM symptoms after each child.
